After a fairly rough ferry crossing, we made it home safely on the afternoon of Thursday 21st December, 58 days after leaving. We're tired, but very happy that we've completed this amazing trip without any major issues.


It's a lot to look back on and it's going to take some time to digest everything that we saw and experienced along the way. In the meantime, Christmas is only a few days away and we have to start finalising the details for our second epic trip, 7 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia from mid-January.

  • Special mention to Rothenburg hotel - nice big comfortable room but with the worst bathroom ever (tiny and smelly)
