Adios España…Bienvenue en France

The second day in San Sebastián was nice and sunny. We continued our exploration of the old town (and the Pintxos!) as well as walking the Promenade around Monte Urgell where the waves were crashing onto the path.

Today we had one of the longest drives of the trip, a little over 4 hours to Carcassone. It's been a stunning day, beautiful blue skies and 23 degrees. The French motorways are so easy to drive on... although you pay for the privilege with over €40 in tolls in one day. The Irish motorway petrol stations also have a long way to go to catch up to the French service areas!
